The Festival of Lights Diwali 2014

Diwali is a festival of lights. Diwali is also known as Dipawali. Dipawali is celebrated by the peoples all over the world. Diwali is also known as Lightning day of India. In this day people clean and decorate their houses. Originally Diwali is a five day festival. At the time of Diwali people by new cloths, candles, Diyas, sweets, and crackers. People also by gifts for their relatives and friends.

The legend regarding Diwali ways backs to thousands of year ago says that at this day Lord  Rama came back to Ayodhya with their brother Lakshaman and wife Sita after spending 14 years vanvas. Many believes that Diwali is a festival of Lakshmi puja. Lakshmi puja is also a ceremony performed at this day. People believe that at this day Godden Lakshmi came to their houses. This year Diwali festival is coming on 23 October.
